Taapsee Pannu On Her ‘Secret’ Wedding With Husband Mathias Boe: ‘Not Sure About How I Feel About It Being Out There’

Actress Taapsee Pannu left her fans delighted when snippets from her wedding with her longtime beau Mathias Boe. Netizens were in love with the wedding videos and their chemistry. While many were waiting for the actress to post snippets from her wedding on her official social media handles, she has refrained from doing so. Now, she has opened up about the reason behind keeping the details of her nuptials away from the limelight. Talking about her ‘secret wedding,’ she expressed that she isn’t comfortable exposing her personal life to the netizens for them to judge.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Taapsee opened up about her and Boe’s Udaipur wedding. Speaking on whether she is planning to make any official announcements regarding her wedding, she explained how she wanted it to be a private affair. The 36-year-old actress revealed that she doesn’t want her personal life to go through the “kind of scrutiny that happens when a public figure gets married.” She added, “It’s me who has signed up for this, not my partner, not the people who were involved in the wedding. Dismissing the claims that she wanted to keep the wedding a secret, the Dunki actress stated, “The people who are genuinely close to me, were a part of the celebration and always knew about my relationship and my intentions about when and how I want to get married.” Further in the interview she also shared that if and when she feels like it is the right time, she might share glimpses from her wedding for her fans to see. For the unversed, the Taapsee and the 43-year-old athlete have been in a relationship for more than a decade. Having met each other in 2013, they have been in a steady relationship ever since. They have successfully kept their relationship away from the limelight.
On the work front, Mathias Boe announced his retirement from sports in 2020. He is currently coaching the men’s double for the Indian national badminton team. On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu will be next seen in Haseen Dillruba 2 alongside Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal. She also has Khel Khel Mein, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor in the pipeline.
